Rooms

All 84 of the bedrooms at the Deer Park Hotel have full en–suite bathroom facilities, multi–channel television and direct dial telephones. Most rooms have outstanding views toward Ireland's Eye (east) or Dublin Bay (south). Tea and coffee making facilities, along with a refrigerator, are also provided.

Deer Park Hotel Single Bedrooms: Each of our single rooms is furnished with hanging space, a comfortable, wide single bed, a writing desk, and a cabinet that contains the multi–channel television and drawers for your clothing. There is also an en suite bathroom with shower. The room has facilities for making tea and coffee.

Deer Park Hotel Double Bedrooms: Our double rooms are furnished with two beds, one double and a narrow single bed. As with our single rooms there is also hanging space, a writing desk, and the television cabinet. Additionally there are two comfortable arm chairs in which you can relax and watch the view from your window.

The Deer Park hotel is situated in the grounds of historic Howth Castle, Howth, County Dublin.

Directions from Belfast and Dublin airport to Deer Park hotel & Golf courses, Howth: Take the main Dublin/Belfast Road From Airport. Take M1 towards Dublin. Leave the Motorway at 1st Exit (Junction 3) – signed for N32/Malahide. Follow signs for N32. Continue straight over 4 roundabouts and several sets of traffic lights. At T–Junction turn right. At Sutton Cross traffic lights bear left. Deer Park Hotel is on the right after approx. 1.5 miles.

Palm Tree Bistro at the Deer Park Hotel: The Palm Tree Bistro serves a wide selection of panini, Danish pastries, scones and cookies throughout the day. Our hot dishes of the day together with a variety of different pies, quiches and salads provide a delicious healthy and nutritious lunch. The full wine list is available together with beers, soft drinks, fresh tea and coffee. This is a bright and relaxing spot for a chat with friends over morning coffee or tea, a light convivial lunch or food & refreshment after a round of golf or a swim in the pool.

For the slightly less energetic our famous Rhododendron Gardens adjoin the Hotel and extend over 30 acres. Featuring over 2000 species of Rhododendron, this area of the gardens is splendid all summer long but at it's very best in May or June. From the gardens the view is spectatular. The novelist HG Wells described it as "the finest view west of Naples".
