County Fermanagh is located to the northwest of Northern Ireland and borders Donegal, Leitrim and Cavan. Fermanagh is dominated by Lough Erne, which almost transects the whole county.

Crom Estate in Newtownbutler on the shores of Lough Erne, spreads over 2,000 acres of woodland, parkland and is an important nature conservation area.
Both Lough Erne and Lough Melvin are well known amongst anglers for Brown Trout and Salmon as well as other species and each year see the Waterways Ireland Classic Fishing Festival. The Fermanagh Lakelands, with its Rivers and Lakes are not only a haven for anglers but also for a number of water sports and outdoor activities.
