A warm welcome awaits you at Corrib Wave House. Our long established lakeside guest house offers affordable rates, scenic views from all bedrooms and good, traditional Irish cuisine. Double, Single, and Family rooms are usually available.

Location

Wave House is situated in on the shores of Lough Corrib,out here in the wilds of County Galway's old Connemara district, not far from the local towns of Oughterard (Irish: Uachtar Ard) and Clifden.

Although in a remote, peaceful, 'get-away-from-it-all' corner of Ireland it is nevertheless fairly easy to get to by road (or by helicopter if you happen
to have one). Intenational visitors will also find airport transfers easy.

Relax in the homely atmosphere of our dining room, where you can enjoy an imaginative taste of traditional Irish Cuisine and hospitality. Our dining area provides excellent views of the Connemara landscape and there are often truly remarkable sunsets.

Then, if you so desire, you can put your feet up and recline in front of our traditional open turf fire. We offer an excellent selection of wines, beers to accompany your meal. We also have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to suit your taste.
