Stella Maris Country House Hotel
Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, Stella Maris was built in mid to late 1800"s as a Coast Guard House and was later home to an order of teaching sisters from 1914-64. A detailed restoration of this imposing 19th century oceanfront structure was undertaken & completed in 2002. Antiques are interspersed with comfortable leather furniture to create a comfortable ambience. Visitors enjoy the tranquil setting from the 100-foot conservatory overlooking the Bay and Downpatrick Head, a stunning 300-foot sea stack which is a Signature Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way.
