County Waterford has a varied landscape with the mountain ranges of the north of the County, including the Knockmealdown Mountains and the Comeragh Mountains and to the south the dramatic coastline defines the landscape. The Ardmore Round Tower and Cathedral is the presumed burial site of Saintt Declan. Cappoquin House & Gardens is a fine example of an 18th century Georgian mansion. The Copper Coast European Geopark is one of the only one of its kind in Ireland and one of 17 in Europe.

There are also cycling routes to explore, for example, from Cappoquin and Waterford.
