Rooms

Each of the 74 rooms offers a breathtaking view– either of the hotel gardens, the rolling Kerry countryside or the magical lakes and mountains. The rooms are equipped with 5 star amenities, with Internet access, fluffy bathrobes, slippers, trouser press , air conditioning & Aveda bathroom accessories. Many rooms have separate shower/bathtubs and balconies.

Lakeside Room – Each room is beautifully appointed with carefully chosen furnishings and extras. Luxury is paramount as is space and comfort with approximately 40 square metres for you and your guests to enjoy. An expansive king sized bed or twin beds as required are dressed in the most luxurious downs and the highest quality crisp white bed linen. The design blends the warmth of a country home with the style and luxury of a contemporary 5 star hotel.

Deluxe Garden Room – Where every room offers spectacular garden and countryside views whilst the interior offers luxury and warmth, designed to ensure a memorable stay. Each room is beautifully appointed with carefully chosen furnishings and extras. Luxury is paramount as is space and comfort with approximately 55 square metres for you and your guests to enjoy. An expansive king sized bed, or twin beds as required are dressed in the most luxurious downs and the highest quality crisp white bed linen.

Complimentary Aghadoe Shuttle Bus. Pickup from Kerry Airport & Killarney Train Station with prior arrangement. Contact the hotel directly on (+353 64 31766) Scheduled daily transfers into Killarney town.

Directions From Cork: Take the N22 from Cork to Killarney passing through the villages of Ballincollig and Macroom. On arrival in Killarney you will come to a roundabout, take the second exit heading towards Tralee and Limerick. You will be by–passing Killarney Town. There will be a second roundabout at the end of this road, please take the third exit still heading towards Tralee/Limerick. Approximately a quarter of a mile from the second roundabout there is a turn off to your left (the hotel is signposted from here) going up hill. At the top of the hill go left again and continue along this road for 1 mile. The hotel is located on your right after the church ruins.

Directions from Dublin: Take the N7 from Dublin, Which will bring you through Naas and Kildare, on in to Portlaoise and Roscrea. From here you follow the signs for Limerick. After leaving Limerick take the N21, you will pass through the towns of Adare, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and Castleisland. At Castleisland you must take the N22 to Killarney passing through the village of Farranfore where Kerry Airport is located. After passing the airport you will come to a T–Junction and on the left you will see a Bar & Restaurant called Ulicks. Take the left–hand turn here. At this stage you are just 10 miles from the Hotel. The turn off for the Hotel is before Killarney Town. Take the next right turn after Kathleen's Country House. You will be making a right turn on a left–hand bend going up hill. We are signposted at this junction. At the top of the hill take a left and continue on for 1 mile. The hotel is located on your right after the church ruins.

Directions from Limerick: As you leave Limerick take N21 and you will pass through the towns of Adare, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and Castleisland. Lake Room Restaurant: The Executive Robin Suter and Chef de Cuisine Gavin Gleeson have developed the classically wonderful cuisine of Fredrick's for a new century. To complement the wonderful new menu, the hotel has completely redesigned the restaurant concept with a brand new identity, the Lake Room. The talented chefs continue to use fresh local produce to create exceptional dishes with an eclectic European flavour.

Heights Bar & Lounge: Light meals, snacks and the Traditional afternoon tea is served in the contemporary setting of the heights lounge, along with a selection of fine wines and cocktails.
