Ballyseede Castle is steeped in history. Be a king or queen for the night in our elegant bedrooms. Drink wine or chat with the locals in our cosy cocktail bar and enjoy the best of traditional and continental food in our elegant restaurant. Located on 30 acres of pasture and gardens off the main Tralee Killarney road (N21). We are ideally located for touring both the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula and within reach of several championship golf courses.

Bedrooms are elegant and spacious and come in a large variety from single to mini suite to deluxe. All the bedrooms have been totally refurbished. They are individually designed and are decorated with taste and imagination. The bedrooms offer a magnificent view of the grounds of the castle. All our bedrooms are ensuite with direct dial phone and satellite television.
There are also many gracious public areas available for the guests use throughout the castle. The Residents Lounge and the Pembroke Room, both drawing rooms, are decorated with cornices of ornamental foliage plaster and adorned by marble fireplaces. A magnificent carved oak mantelpiece also ornaments the Library Bar.

At Ballyseede Castle, we would like to make your meals memorable and endeavour to keep to our high standards in gastronomy. We have been accredited with two RAC awards for dining and our chefs will cater for all tastes and fancies.
All of our food is either home grown or is 100% guaranteed Irish. Continental cuisine as well as traditional fare is served here. Our fully stocked wine cellar will compliment any meal. We cater for all tastes – a five course dinner menu, an afternoon tea in one of our Drawing Rooms or a light snack in the Library Bar, all can be enjoyed in our luxurious and tranquil surroundings. We also have a full breakfast menu.
