The Malton, formerly the Great Southern Hotel Killarney, is a stunning Victorian hotel and much-loved Irish landmark. Since opening our doors in 1854, this historic hotel has been a cherished destination, welcoming visitors from all over the world. There are 172 luxurious bedrooms at the Malton, the Victorian staircases and corridors are spacious, wide enough to allow two ladies in hooped dresses to comfortably pass. The purpose built conference and banqueting centre at the Malton is an impressive facility. Set in the hotel gardens and linked to the hotel by a glass corridor, it combines natural wooden interiors with daylight and bright colours to give an ultra modern theme. The conference centre has its own private car park in addition to the hotel car park. The conference centre is comprised of the Muckross Suite, the foyer and lobby areas provide vast exhibition and refreshment space. The second large meeting room is the Mangerton Theatre. The conference centre has a Press Room and is ideal for media room or office during your event.
