New family-run smoke free hotel in a superb location. Keel Beach, ideal for walking is only 2 minutes away. The hotel commanding magnificent views offers excellent home-made food, comfortable accommodation and good value. Fine wines and an extensive breakfast menu are available. Achill Cliff House offers fine quality hotel accommodation in an outstanding location at the heart of Achill Island. Our bedrooms are large and spacious and provide a full range of in–room facilities for guests, include large en–suite bathrooms in every bedroom. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
All our bathrooms offer both a power shower and bath. Bedroom facilities also include arm chairs and table, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones (with international access), trouser press and hairdryer. A large (21") TV is included in every bedroom.
Location
Achill Island is Ireland's largest island. Located off the west coast of County Mayo at approximately 10 degrees west, it covers some 57sq miles of spectacular scenery. Achill Cliff House is located right in the heart of Achill Island in the village of Keel.
This unforgettable landscape ranges from soaring mountains and dramatic cliffs to seascapes, beautiful sandy beaches and rugged bogland terrain. Achill boasts no fewer than five Blue Flag beaches and the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Its two highest mountains, Slievemore and Croaghaun, stand at 672m and 688m respectively.
