13th Century Castle located 40 minutes from Galway City. Once the estate of Lord Ardilaun and the Guinness Family. Ashford Castle opened as a luxury hotel in 1939. 83 guest rooms are of the highest standards with incredible lake or river views. We offer 9 hole golf and tennis complimentary to residents. Our activities include archery, clay pigeon, fishing, horseback riding, cruising on the lake and falconry. Our Health Centre comprises: sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym area and treatment rooms. Various suites and staterooms available.
