Hodson Bay Hotel's 182 en–suite bedrooms are furnished to the highest standards and for that extra special treat Lakeview, Deluxe Bedrooms and Suites are also available. Complimentary Broadband Internet Access, Interactive TV Tea/Coffee making facilities, Trouser Press, Hairdryer and Direct Dial phone.

Hodson Retreat is a new wing of luxury bedrooms. These have contemporary décor with floor to ceiling windows, individual commissioned artwork, plasma television, walk-in shower with separate bath, air conditioning and mini bar. Most of these deluxe rooms have magnificent views over the lake and golf course. The penthouse suite has a private balcony and stunning views. Hodson Retreat is non smoking and cannot accommodate children.

Location

Hodson Bay Hotel is located on the shores of Lough Ree just 5 minutes from Athlone town centre. It is centrally situated just 90 minutes from Dublin, Galway and Limerick. It is easily accessible from the main Dublin–Galway road (N6/M6) bypassing Athlone town, take the signposted exit for Roscommon and Hodson Bay (N61) follow signposted directions to reach the hotel.

By Car:

Take the M4 Signposted West/Sligo/Galway. Pass through the Toll Plaza. At the Junction with M6 follow signs for Galway onto the M6 motorway. New motorway now open - follow signs for Galway onto the M6 motorway. Continue past Athlone on the bypass. Cross over the River Shannon bridge and take the Roscommon / Hodson Bay Exit (N61). Continue towards Roscommon for approximately 5 kms. Hodson Bay is well sign posted and located to your right.

Check-in / out:

Guaranteed Check-in time of 4:30pm. An early check-in can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.    Check-out time is 12noon.  A late check-out can only be confirmed on the day of departure by reception.

Smoking Policy:

All public areas of the hotel and the Hodson Retreat section are completely non-smoking. Smoking bedrooms are available upon request in the original Hodson Bay Hotel section. Please contact hotel directly to arrange this.
