About Faythe Guest House
Family-run guesthouse in a quiet part of the town centre, is built on the grounds of a former castle of which one wall remains today. All rooms refurbished recently to the highest standard. Some of our rooms overlook Wexford Harbour. All rooms have bathroom en suite, colour TV, DVD player, direct dial phone, clock radios and tea/coffee facilities. Rosslare Ferry Port is only 15 minutes drive (early breakfast on request). We also have a large private car park. We are a non smoking house.

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, satellite colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a direct dial telephone. The lounge has been decorated in period style, with an open fireplace and a glass dome roof for extra light. This makes it a comfortable and cozy room to relax in anytime of the day or night.

From Dublin, On reaching the first roundabout (quality Hotel). Take the exit towards Rosslare, next roundabout take exit towards Wexford Town, about one mile later take a right at traffic lights and follow road up until you open out into a square, we are now in front of you (black and white building.) Rosslare Ferry Port is only 15 minutes drive (early breakfast on request) and we also have a large private car park.

Local Attractions > Johnstown Castle and Gardens - A 16th century castle set on 1000 acres (400 hectares) of farmland. There are over 200 different kinds of trees and shrubs and three ornamental lakes with wildfowl. There is also a picnic area. Kilmore Quay - Maritime Museum - The Lightship "the Guillemot" which is moored at the little fishing village of Kilmore is host to a Maritime Museum. There are many displays to see and some spectacular views from the bridge deck. Irish National Heritage Park - The exhibition is located just 2kms outside Wexford town on 35 Acres of woodland. The park takes you on a timeline through 9000 years of Irish history with reconstructions of all aspects of Irish life. There is also a restaurant and craft shop. John F. Kennedy Park and Arboretum (New Ross) - The park was built in 1968 to commemorate the late president John F Kennedy and covers an expanse of 252 hectares. There are over 6000 species of plants, shrubs and trees. A mini railway and pony and trap rides are available during the summer. Wexford Wildlife Reserve - The reserve consists of reclaimed land at the North of Wexford Harbour. The reserve is internationally famous for the birds which nest there. Facilities available include a car park, picnic area, observation tower and interpretative centre. Wexford Festival Opera - An internationally acclaimed festival occurs in the town at the end of October every year. During the festival there are many fringe events including opera scenes and art exhibitions.
