Through the website we (IrelandHotels.com) provide an online platform through which hotels and guesthouses in Ireland can advertise their rooms for reservation, and through which visitors to the website can make such reservations. By making a reservation through IrelandHotels.com, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the hotel or guesthouse at which you book. From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the hotel, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant hotel and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the hotel.
The hotel information, star ratings and quality of accommodation are compiled from information provided directly by the hotels. As such, the hotels are given access to an extranet through which they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability and other information which is displayed on our website. We publish such information in good faith, based on the information provided. We have taken reasonable care to ensure that the content of all areas of the website, including all hotel information, are accurate and up-to-date. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, errors, omissions or misleading information contained therein. Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of any hotel or guesthouse.
The site contains links to third party web sites (“third party sites”) and third party content (“third party content”) as a service to those interested in this information. You use links to third party sites and third party content therein at your own risk. By completing a booking, you agree to receive a confirmation email which we will send to you following your reservation. To receive promotional emails or SMS messages from us, you must opt-in to these communications during either the reservation process or via the website homepage.
Payment and deposit policy
The price you see on the site is the full price that you will pay. We will charge you a booking deposit of 10% of the total value of your stay when you make your reservation. The balance of 90% will be paid directly by you to the hotel at the beginning or end of your stay (depending on hotel policy).
Our partner hotels and guesthouses require your credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation. We will send your credit card information directly to the hotel at which your booking is made and we may verify (i.e. pre-authorize) your credit card as well. In order to safeguard and encrypt your credit card information when in transit to us, we use the “Secure Socket Layer (SSL)” technology for our services.
All rates on the Irelandhotels.com website include VAT, unless stated differently on our website or the confirmation email.
Our currency converter is for information purposes only and should not be relied upon as accurate and real time; actual rates may vary.
Limitation of Liability
You waive and covenant not to assert any claims or allegations of any nature whatsoever against IrelandHotels.com, its affiliates, or their respective directors, officers, employees or agents arising out of or in any way relating to your use of the site, the services, the content or the materials contained in or accessible through the site, including, without limitation, any claims or allegations relating to the alleged infringement of proprietary rights, alleged inaccuracy of site content, or allegations that IrelandHotels.com has or should indemnify, defend or hold harmless you or any third party from any claim or allegation arising from your use or exploitation of the site. You use this site at your own risk.
IrelandHotels.com shall not be liable without limitation for any damage caused by or resulting from mistakes, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files or email, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance whether or not resulting from acts of God, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to IrelandHotels.com records, programmes or services.
Cancellation Policy
You can make a cancellation up to 7 days prior your check-in date at the hotel or guesthouse. To cancel your reservation, please click here. When your cancellation has been confirmed, you will receive an email from us, and within 7 working days your 10% booking deposit will be refunded to you.
If you make a cancellation 7 days or less in advance of your stay the booking deposit will not be refunded. Your booking then reverts to the cancellation policy of the hotel or guesthouse that applies to your reservation.
IrelandHotels.com accepts no responsibility for the terms and conditions of the hotel or guesthouses cancellation policy. Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the hotel or guesthouse’s cancellation and no-show policy. We recommend that you read the cancellation and no-show policy of the hotel carefully prior to making your reservation.
If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein.
Best Available Room Guarantee
Irelandhotels.com and its partner properties will endeavour to provide you with the Best Available Room in the same room category on the dates that you have booked. Please note that the best available room relates to the room type booked and does not mean you will receive an upgrade to a higher room category.
Jurisdiction of Law
Unless stated otherwise, the software required for our services or available at or used by our website and the intellectual property rights (including the copyrights) of the contents and information of and material on our website are owned by IrelandHotels.com its suppliers or providers.
These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law and any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions and our services shall exclusively resolved in a court of competent subject matter jurisdiction in the Republic of Ireland. Your use of the site means you consent to the personal jurisdiction of Irish courts over you and agree that Republic of Ireland is the convenient forum for the resolution of any such disputes. If you choose to access this site from locations anywhere else in the world as the case may be, you will be responsible for compliance with all local laws of such other jurisdictions.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or non-binding, you shall remain bound by all other provisions hereof. Reservation Orders
When you book a reservation through our website, we ask you to provide personally identifiable information by filling out and submitting the booking form. This information includes: your name, home or work telephone number, email address, and your credit card number, expiration date, and billing address. We use this information to process and book your reservation and to notify you of your reservation status by email. We also ask you for personally identifiable information about other people for whom you are booking reservations. This guarantee applies to participating hotels only. We are committed to giving you the best value when you make a booking with Irelandhotels.com. Should you find your hotel room at a lower price on the Internet, with the same booking conditions, within 24 hours of making your booking on this site, we will match the rate. All you need to do is contact us within 24 hours with details of the website where the lower rate is clearly and freely available. By making a booking with a best rate guarantee property you automatically agree with the terms and conditions of the guarantee. Please see terms and conditions here.
Terms and Conditions for Guests:
1. As hotel prices can change frequently, you must contact us promptly by email rateguarantee@irelandhotels.com, but in any event within 24 hours of purchasing your hotel room through Irelandhotels.com. Your email should include the following information: your name, Irelandhotels.com reservation booking reference and the website where the lower rate is available. Incomplete or inaccurate emails will not be taken into account.
2. The guarantee is not applicable for bookings made on the day of arrival.
3. The guarantee only applies in respect to a lower rate that is generally available for online booking. The lower online rate must be bookable when Irelandhotels.com validates your claim, within the 24 hour period. Screen shots will not be accepted as proof.
4. The lower rate must be found online for an equivalent room at the same hotel as booked through Irelandhotels.com on the same check-in and check-out dates with the same booking conditions.
5. The lower rate must be in the same currency.
6. Irelandhotels.com participating “Best Rate Guaranteed” hotels will match the proven and accepted lower rate only if your reservation through Irelandhotels.com is completed and not cancelled or the subject of a no-show.
7. If the claim is unsuccessful as it is not in accordance with our best rate guarantee terms and conditions, our terms and conditions of booking, including the cancellation policy are still applicable.
8. The “Best Rate Guarantee” does not apply to hotel rooms purchased through or in combination with membership rates, frequent stay, loyalty points or other “reward” type programs or special promotions of the hotel where the booking is made. Lower rates available through opaque sites where the exact hotel isn’t known until after booking are also excluded from the guarantee.
9. Irelandhotels.com may, at its sole discretion, cancel a booking a refund the booking deposit (where applicable) without penalty where it is unable to satisfy itself of the validity or accuracy of any claim or gain the agreement of the hotel to honour such claim.
10. While it is the clear objective of Irelandhotels.com to deliver the “Best Rate Guaranteed” service to its guests from its hotel partners, Irelandhotels.com is reliant on parties outside its control to deliver this service and therefore Irelandhotels.com is sole and final arbiter in the application of the terms of this agreement.
