CYCLING BREAKS IN IRELAND Want to keep those New Years’ resolutions and have a break at the same time? Now the evenings are beginning to become brighter why not try a cycling break. Dublin has Dublinbikes, launched in 2009 there are centres all over the city enabling the user to park and leave. Like a leapcard, annual card costs €25 and a three day cycle pass costs €5. Each centre has 15 bike stands and you will find the near a lot of irish hotels and guesthouses in the city centre. The first 15 mins is also free on each bike. Good exercise and friendly to the environment, the bikes have created a new type of tourist to Ireland.
