We have trawled the internet for the best family-friendly activities in Cork, Kerry and Tipperary to keep all the family happy on a hotel break in Ireland. So before you book your hotel destination, take a moment to browse our fun-filled activities to keep everyone entertained. We even have some suggestions for free things to do.

Explore Kerry

 

1.      Aquadome Tralee

Located on the Wild Atlantic Way this popular waterpark is one of the best family attractions in Kerry.  It offers a great day of fun for all with the high flume slide, lazy river, river rapids, wave pool and aqua golf. The Grand Hotel Tralee offers great rates on its family rooms and is just a short drive from the Aquadome.

 

2.      Muckross House Killarney

A trip to this 19th Century Victorian house with its beautiful gardens is a great day out for families. Take a full day trip to Killarney National park and visit the house, farm, lakes and woodlands. Stay the International Hotel Killarney with its great family rooms.

 

3.      Torc Waterfall

This waterfall is also in Killarney National Park. Why not take a traditional jaunting car on route around the park to see both Muckross House and Torc Waterfall. Explore Cork

 

1.      Fota Wildlife Park

This is a great place to witness your favourite animal species at work. Visit the four Asian lion cubs named by the public as Ri, Riann, Rani and Ravi. There are chances to see the Cheetah run and animal feeding at specific times of the day. 2.     Cork City Gaol

Take a self-guided or guided tour around the gaol this July and August. See the cell where famed rebel Countess Markievicz was held. Explore Tipperary

 

1.      The Glen of Aherlow
